Common Name: Australian Wood Duck a.k.a. Maned Duck
Scientific Name: Chenonetta jubata

Australian Wood Ducks were previously known as Maned Duck (or Goose) however the IOC and Clements who have retained the original name. As it is often called a Wood Duck for short causing confusion with the American species which is officially called the Wood Duck (Aix sponsa).
