Bush Stone- Curlew, Davistown Aug 2013.
One of three breeding pairs of the Bush Stone-curlews on the Central Coast of N.S.W. They are an endangered species in N.S.W. The juvenile from last year has its back to us.
Their long longs fold back at the knees and they drop down to their bellies.
