Olive-Backed Oriole

An Olive-Backed Oriole calling to his mate. Another great mimic, I was drawn to this area because I could hear a black-faced Cuckoo-shriek when I saw the Oriole, Long Jetty, Nov 2012.

Olive-backed Oriole
They mimic many bird calls and hearing a plethora of birds often leads to an Olive-backed Oriel.
They start to migrate here from mid to late August. Long Jetty, Nov 2012.
